Each doctor operates as an independent medical practitioner and sets their own consultation fees.  Please contact reception for information about your doctor’s current fees.  Listed fees are indicative only.

Wakefield Gardens Surgery is not a bulk billing practice. Charging appropriately for the time we spend with our patients allows us to provide high quality care.

The fee charged for a consultation will depend on its complexity and length.

Payments at the time of the consultation is required.

We offer nurse-only appointments which are available for things like ear syringing and wound dressings. All treatment room consultations (except vaccines) will incur a $60 out of pocket fee.

Other services including completing reports and forms; uploading, copying or managing health information; and providing repeat prescriptions and referrals will also incur a fee. The amount charged will depend on the time involved and the complexity of the task. The minimum fee for these services will be $30.
