OUR PRACTICE
Please call the surgery prior to your appointment to see how the doctor may be running. Reception staff can provide an estimate on wait times, as you can appreciate this is just an estimation and if the doctor feels a patient requires more time to provide the best care, they may run over the allocated appointment time.
Where possible we try to accommodate each patient’s request, we understand that patients like to see their regular doctor however at times it is not always possible. We will endeavour to fit you in an appointment with another doctor if your preferred doctor is not available, all doctors at Wakefield Gardens Surgery will strive to assist you with your medical needs.
TRAINING & TEACHING
Wakefield Gardens Surgery is proud to participate in the training of GP Registrars, Medical and Nursing students. GP Registrars are qualified medical doctors who are working towards attaining their specialist fellowship in General Practice. If a student is working with your doctor or nurse when you are visiting the practice, you will be advised and given an opportunity to consent.
