MINOR PROCEDURES

Safe, professional care for minor surgical procedures and wound management. We offer a range of in-clinic procedures performed by our experienced GPs and nurses. All procedures require a pre-assessment with your doctor before booking, and most procedures involve a 30–60 minute appointment with both the doctor and the nurse.

Common procedures include:

  • Skin lesion excisions (with pathology testing)

  • Cryotherapy (freezing of warts, sunspots, or skin tags)

  • Wound repair and suturing

  • Ulcer and wound management

  • Implanon insertions and removals

  • Mirena insertions and removals

  • Dressings and post-op care

If you have had an accident or injury, please call ahead. Our nurse can assess the situation and determine whether you should attend the clinic or go straight to the emergency department.

Important notes:

  • Fees apply to all procedures performed in the clinic.

  • Skin lesions are sent to pathology; results may take up to 7 days.

  • Follow-up visits for results, dressing changes, or suture removal are usually required and may incur a fee.

  • If the procedure relates to a workers compensation claim, the patient is responsible for covering the cost of treatment unless otherwise arranged.
