We are excited to share some wonderful updates at Wakefield Gardens Surgery and The Surgery at Manuka Terrace. Our team is continuing to grow, and we are introducing new services to support your health and wellbeing.

Acupuncture with Dr Ann Miller

We are pleased to now offer acupuncture with Dr Ann Miller.Dr Miller is an experienced GP with additional training in acupuncture, providing a safe and evidence-based approach to managing pain, stress, and other conditions. Appointments are available through our regular booking system.

Welcoming our Pharmacist – Chun Hong (Tom) Chan

We warmly welcome Tom Chan, our new practice pharmacist.Tom will work closely with our doctors and nurses to:

• Support medication reviews

• Assist with managing complex prescriptions

• Provide education about safe medication use

• Help coordinate care with hospitals, specialists, and aged care facilities

This new role will further strengthen our focus on chronic disease management and patient safety.

After-Hours Telehealth with Dr Sharleen Bowes

We understand that health concerns don’t always arise during standard hours.Our new after-hours telehealth service with Dr Sharleen Bowes allows you to access care from the comfort of your home, evenings and weekends. Bookings can be made online via Automed or by calling reception.
